The action was taken after House Democrats pressured Republicans to remove the Georgia Republican of committee assignments on their own. House Republicans refused to take that action, and House GOP leader Kevin McCarthy on Wednesday called the push a “partisan power grab.”
Greene’s defense of herself on the House floor last night, reportedly prompted a standing ovation from some Republican members.

Yes, they need to lose their seats! They obviously have not read the Constitution that they have sworn to defend!
The Republican Party is dead. The Republic died in 1913 with the Federal Reserve. Now it is all a clown show with mask. What we need is a gazillion more dollars and Utopia is ours!
These people, as well as the ones who voted to impeach a non sitting president, are the reason I will never join the Republican Party.
Republicans eat their own just like Democrats!
Strip these members of their Republican Party affiliation. Primary them in two years and send a clear message that the Republican Party will not me moderated over the cliff of socialism.
